The body in charge of Federal Government Student Loans (NELFUND) has released a notice that the verification process has started since last week. 

"All applicants are instructed to start checking their dashboard if they have been verified or not.

The FUND also stated that there shouldn't be panic in case you see pending on your loan status. 

The verification process just started and it will take us some time to review all applicants.

What to do if your loan status is still pending

It is normal if you are still pending your application. But, you can take a look at the following:

3. Read through the student's loan terms and conditions for a better understanding of the process and fund distribution.
