The scholarship program is a continuation of our ongoing efforts, which have included the Youth Leadership Series (YLS), the Higher Institution Football League (HIFL), and other events, to support the goals and desires of young people in Nigeria.
The scholarship program is available to students who took part in the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and were accepted into any state or federal institution in Nigeria. Its goal is to promote academic excellence and hard work among Nigerian undergraduates.
According to Dr. Demola Sogunle, CEO of Stanbic IBTC Holdings PLC, the company values education and its positive effects on the lives of young Nigerians.
He states that education "empowers and encourages youth to confront challenges and prepare for the future." Any country or organization can expand and thrive sustainably with the help of education.

Benefits of Stanbic IBTC University Scholarship
The scholarship fund is an N40 million project designed to help 100 young Nigerians achieve their goals for four academic years.
The award will pay for the recipients' living expenses as well as their entire tuition.
Requirements for Stanbic IBTC University Scholarship
The scholarship is available to new UTME applicants who have been admitted to any state or federal university in Nigeria for the 2023–2024 academic year and have scored at least 250.

The following are the documents require to apply for the ongoing Stanbic IBTC University Scholarship
- Recent Passport Photograph
- Valid ID Card- NIN slip, voter's card, birth certificate or international passport
- 2023 UTME Result with a minimum score of 250
- Minimum of 5 credits (including Mathematics and English Language) in the O'Level ( WAEC, NECO or GCE) with a valid Statement of Result or Certificate
- JAMB or University Admission Letter
