The West African Examinations Council has stated that the results for the 2024 West African Senior School Certificate Examination will be issued on August 5, 2024.

Students across West Africa are excitedly awaiting their results, which will be made available online and at designated WAEC locations, according to Schoolpursuit.
This announcement ends a stressful wait for candidates who took the tests earlier this year.
The announcement stated, "WAEC has officially announced that the WAEC 2024 results will be released on Monday, August 5, 2024."

"The West African Examinations Council has admitted that various issues delayed the release of the results.
"WAEC has assured all candidates who took the exam that 99.5% of the SSCE results are ready and will be available online soon".
