The National Association of Nigerian Students has issued a 48-hour deadline to higher education institutions that still need to upload student data to the Nigeria Education Loan Fund board webpage.

"If these institutions fail to provide this information on the NELFUND portal within the next 48 hours, we will be compelled to implement our action plans against them," said the advisor.

Emonefe highlighted NANS' dissatisfaction, stating that it needs to be more dedicated and urgent among Nigeria's remaining state higher education institutions.
"Some institutions are failing to take advantage of NELFUND's interest-free loans for needy students, which is unfortunate.
"We advise the management of these schools to prioritize the upload of student data to the loan board portal before the deadline.
Education is a fundamental right, and every student should have access to financial aid to further their education.
