As announced by the Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board, the computer-based examination for hiring primary school teachers in the state will start on Monday, July 22, and run through Friday, July 26, 2024.

He claimed that each candidate has previously received information on the precise time and date via their phone numbers or emails.

He recommended applicants to periodically check their emails and phones for confirmation. He further stated that the exam will be held at the University of Ibadan Distance Learning Centre, Computer Based Testing Centre, in Ajibode, Ibadan.
He also stated: "The Board has approved that the University of Ibadan Distance Learning Centre, Computer Based testing centre, should conduct the computer-based tests for the applicants because of its long-standing pedigree in such examinations."

The OYO SUBEB president stated that the two print-outs would admit applicants to the CBT examination hall. He further stated that candidates must closely adhere to the time and date issued to them by the Board, since loitering about the centre would not be permitted.
The Chairman insisted that successful applicants in the computer-based assessments appear for oral interviews.
Adeniran emphasized the Board's commitment to a credible process, stating, "No candidate should rely on hearsay. The Board will constantly keep you updated on each stage of the exercise, so be wary of scammers."
Meanwhile, Adeniran stated that the Board is working to complete the exercise on time so that successful applicants can be rapidly injected into the system and participate in the state's ongoing basic education reforms.
