The President of the Federation, president Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 has successfully launched Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) in State House, Abuja.

Those that are present at the inauguration are the leadership of the Nigeria National Assembly, Secretary to the Government of the Federation, some ministers, heads of agencies, and members of the board and finally the full team of the NELFUND which was led by the chairman Jim Ovia.
President Tinubu Ahmed handed a symbolic of cheque to the chairman after launching the portal for payment rollout, immediately after launching the portal.
The CEO of the Nigeria Education Loan Fund, Akintunde Sawyerr, he mentioned that the fund jas successfully registered over 110,000 students.

Now, that the President has officially launched the Student Loan Scheme Disbursement.
