The director of NELFUND, under the leadership of Managing Director Mr. Akintunde Sawyerr, has commenced disbursing N20,000.00 monthly stipends for July to 20,371 students across six (6) tertiary institutions.
“The just paid upkeep to Nigeria students in the six (6) tertiary institutions is for July. The students will still be receiving their August payment for the upkeep.
This is made known on the X (Twitter) handle on Nigeria House of Representatives, Abuja in reaffirming its unwavering commitment to the effective oversight and success of the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) as it initiates the distribution of monthly stipends to students.
The Chairman also added that students should be expecting their upcoming upkeep payment when due.
As the screenshot above shows, the Nigeria House of Representatives points out that NELFUND has successfully initiated the distribution of July payments to Nigerian students.

“The Nigeria House of Representatives then reaffirmed that they will continue to support NELFUND for streamless implementation of the plan.
Akintunde Sawyer, also noted the Fund is planning to organize career opportunities for all applicants for academic support and career development.
