OYO SUBEB RECRUITMENT: Oyo State release conditions for interview modalities

The Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board, Oyo SUBEB, has released the results of its just concluded computer-based tests for the ongoing recruitment of 7,000 primary school teachers.

According to the Executive Chairman of the Board, Dr Nureni Aderemi Adeniran, the Board has set a minimum cut-off mark of 50% for qualification to the next stage in the recruitment exercise.

Dr Adeniran advised all candidates to log into their portal, as their results have been posted there already.

Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) released the recently concluded examination results on Wednesday, 31st of July.

During the interview, dressing, composure, and documents will be graded coupled with the technical questions that will be asked.

Generally, expect at most 5 questions.

Don't attend the interview with your Statement of Result. It will reduce your grade. Unfortunately, you won't be told. 

The type of questions you should be expecting 

Look forward to questions on Teaching Methodologies and then questions on your area of Specialization will be asked.

Also, note that Micro Teaching will be done for some categories of people. 

OYO SUBEB Recruitment 2024 statistics 

A total of 45,839 Candidates sat for the exam while only 8,213 candidates scored above 50% which is the pass mark.

If you didn't meet the OYO SUBEB cut-off mark, this might be because of their Marking Techniques. Subjects offered by all the applicants are as follows:

• English language: 9 questions, 3 marks each 3×9=27
• Mathematics: 9 questions, 3 marks each 3×9=27
• Basic science: 9 questions, 2 marks each 2x9=18
• Social studies: 9 questions, 1 mark each 1×9=9
• Current affairs: 9 questions, 1 mark each = 1×9=9
• Yoruba: 5 questions, 2 marks each = 2×5=10

Total marks = 100
