University of Ibadan hot response to UI'SU protest - FULL DETAILS

University of Ibadan management has ordered immediately vacation of all students from the school hostel. 

This action followed the three week extension of the University examination which was formally slated to commence September 2, 2024. 

University of Ibadan responded to the cry and protest of UI'SU request for school reduction by extended the school fees payment and examination by three weeks. 

Behind the scenes 

University of Ibadan Students' Union released a memo on August 29, 2024, for an Indefinite protest on campus which has taken effect as of August 30, 2024.


However, it has gotten to our hearing that thousands of students who are waiting for UI'SU mandates on school reduction have already started paying their school fees overnight. 

Most importantly, the 200-level and 300-level students have their GES Exams slated for NEXT WEEK.

This is to the fact that the University has released a new GES TIME TABLE which starts September 2, 2024.

According to a Law students, who wish that his identity should not be disclosed our NEWS AGENT said that all the Faculty of Science lecture classes are currently shut down. He expresses his heartfelt response to this move by the University of Ibadan Students' Union.

"Classes are not open right now, our test has been canceled. He stated.

Another political student who sat in the Faculty of Social Science leather lounge said that the University of Ibadan has advised all students who can't afford the Institution fees should go and apply for Student Loans.

"This particular political student told our News agent not to reveal his name and mentioned that, if he applied for a Student Loan right now, he couldn't be approved instantly. He was destabilized while speaking.

"Some of my coursemate to haven't paid their school fees are now paying their, but as for me, I don't know what to do now. The student lamented. 

The protest is still ongoing and join our WhatsApp channel for more updates. 

According to the rumors getting to us right now, the University of Ibadan school fee reduction is not realistic. It is expected that students should make hay while the sun shines.
