The Federal Government has designated Wednesday, December 25th, Thursday, December 26th, and Wednesday, January 1st, 2025, as public holidays to commemorate Christmas, Boxing Day, and New Year's Day.
The proclamation was made on behalf of the Federal Government by the Minister of Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, in a statement issued on Monday in Abuja through the Ministry's Permanent Secretary, Dr. Magdalene Ajani.
According to the statement, the minister offered warm greetings to all Nigerians and encouraged them to use the holiday season to reflect on the principles of love, peace, and unity that the season represents.
