UI announces payment of acceptance fee for 2024/2025 academic session

The University of Ibadan, through its management and administrative board, officially announces the payment of acceptance fees for the 2024/2025 academic session on Wednesday, December 18, 2024.

According to the press of the institution, all the candidates who have been offered admission into the University of Ibadan and have also successfully printed their individual admission letter on JAMB CAPS are enjoined to proceed with the payment of the acceptance fee, which is a total of fifty thousand naira only (#50,000). 


As stated in the press, it should be noted that the payment of the acceptance fee is non-fundable.

Also, candidates who are yet to process and print out their admission letter from JAMB CAPS should do so with immediate effect to avoid the deadline.

"No candidates should process to pay their acceptance until they are able to print their admission letter from JAMB CAPS.

Also, all candidates are expected to upload the following document alongside while processing the acceptance fee. The documents are as follows:
  • O'Level results (s)
  • The PIN/SERIAL numbers for your WAEC/NECO scratch card for O'Level result(s).

Deadline for the payment of acceptance fee

The admission portal for the payment of the acceptance fee will be open from Friday, 20th December, 2024, and close on Friday, 17th January 2025. 

There will be no extension of payment for the fee. Strictly adhere to the time frame and the deadline above.
