The 2025 NYSC Batch C internal mobilization has commenced and institutions has started releasing their approved senate list.
There is no doubt, there is a difference between the internal senate list pasted in many institutions and the NYSC senate list posted on the NYSC portal. Again, don’t confuse both together, they are different.
Although they are similar but the two documents serve different purposes, this makes Prospective Corps Members (PCMs) struggle to understand how the NYSC mobilization process works and were unable to get mobilized on time.

Please note, the list is the recently released internal senate list and not for the just finished Batch B Stream I and II.
Most of these institutions have already shared the senate list PDF documents with their students and have also pasted the list on notice boards.

How do I check if my name is on the senate list?
All you need to do to check if your name is on the NYSC Senate list is to follow the steps below:
Step 1: Go the NYSC Senate List Portal. The official NYSC Senate list checking page is https://portal.nysc.org.ng/nysc1/VerifySenateLists.aspx
Step 2: Input your details as displayed on the screen. Once that is done, recheck if you have inputted the required information.
Step 3: Hit on the “Search” Button.
Step 4: All things being equal, you should see your status right away.
How to check nysc posting list?
To know your nysc posting list, follow the step-by-step guide below:
Step 1: Visit the NYSC Portal at https://portal.nysc.org.ng or https://nysc.org.ng.
Step 2: Next, log into your dashboard by entering your details and click on the “Login” button to proceed.
Step 3: Go ahead and check your posting
Step 4: Download and print your posting letter.
How do I check my NYSC payment status?
Once you have successfully processed your payment. You can proceed to check your payment by using this url https://portal.nysc.org.ng/nysc1/TransactionStatus_remita.
Note: In most case, some institution don’t do not release an internal senate list, they upload directly upload to the NYSC senate list portal. Therefore, find out from your seniors to know which method your school uses and practice.
