The commissioner stressed that all parties involved in planning such events must collaborate with security agencies, including the Nigeria Police Force, the Nigeria Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Amotekun, Operation Burst, and other security units, to ensure proper organization for successful gatherings.

He also insisted that event planners, security, and medical personnel must agree on the selection of venues.

Oyelade stated that the state’s Ministry of Health and the hospital management board must participate, along with private hospitals when needed, to guarantee sufficient medical assistance.

The commissioner cautioned that anyone who violates this directive will face severe legal consequences.

He reminded the public that the state is still grieving the tragic loss of 35 children at a gathering in Ibadan on December 18, 2024.
