For smooth registration process, prospective corps members must meet specific requirements which includes academic credentials, personal identification documents, and health certifications. This guide outlines the essential documents and steps needed for successful NYSC registration in 2025. To register for the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in 2025, prospective corps members should prepare the following.

Kindly note that all the documents below are essential for successful registration on NYSC portal. PLEASE note that this registration is different from NYSC Camp Registration (You will do this at the CAMP you are posted).

Documents NOT ❌❌ Required for online registration:

  • Original WAEC certificate
  • Birth certificate
  • Primary six school leaving certificate
  • Voter's card
  • Junior WAEC or NECO

Requirements and Essential Documents for 2025 NYSC Online Registration:

The documents required vary depending on your category:

1. Foreign Students:

  • International passport
  • Original degree or HND certificate
  • Original O'Level result
  • Passport photograph
  • Evaluation letter (if applicable)
  • Resident permit
  • NIN slip
  • At least hold at least #12,000 for your registration. 

2. Nigerian Students: 

  • NIN slip
  • Your bio-data Details
  • JAMB registration number
  • Some details in your medical fitness certificate
  • Your graduation date (it is on your Institution Senate List)
  • At least hold #8,000 for your registration.

3. Married Women:

  • Marriage certificate
  • Newspaper change of name
  • Husband's ID card
  • Utility bill
  • Husband's domicile letter
  • NIN slip
  • O'Level result
  • At least hold #12,000 for your registration.

NYSC 2025 Registration Requirements and Essential Documents at NYSC Camp:

The following are the documents required for registration at the NYSC Camp for 2025. 

All the documents should be original and provide three (3) copies each.

1. Call-up letter 
2. Green slip 
3. School ID card
4. Statement of result or certificate 
5. Medical fitness 
6. Passport photos (8-10 copies of white or red background) 
7. Medical PCMs (professional permanent license)

  • Accreditation Evidence: Proof that your foreign institution is accredited. ​
  • Certificate Translation: Translated copies of certificates if they are not in English. ​
  • International Passport: Data page, visa, and entry/exit stamps. ​

General information for all Prospective Corps Members (PCMs)

Kindly note that all documents are original and authentic to avoid disqualification.​

Registration by proxy is prohibited. This is because biometric verification will be conducted at orientation camps. ​

Married female prospective corps members seeking posting considerations should upload copies of their marriage certificate, husband's ID, and evidence of husband's place of domicile.
