Applications are now open for the Bloom Grant, a funding opportunity created to support women entrepreneurs in Nigeria who are building businesses with strong social impact.
The programme provides up to $1,000 in funding to selected applicants to help strengthen and expand their existing businesses.
The grant targets women who have moved beyond the idea stage and are already operating businesses. The initiative focuses on supporting entrepreneurs who demonstrate leadership, resilience, and commitment to improving their communities through sustainable business solutions.

2026 Bloom Grant Value
All 2026 Bloom Grant selected applicants will receive:
- Up to $1,000 funding for selected women entrepreneurs
- Financial support aimed at helping businesses expand operations and increase social impact
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the Bloom Grant, applicants must:
- Be a Nigerian woman residing in Nigeria
- Own a registered business that is currently operational
- Have a business that has been operating for no more than five years
- Demonstrate how the business creates social, economic, or community impact
- Be willing to participate in post-grant reporting and visibility activities

Required Application Documents
Applicants are expected to submit:
- Proof of business registration
- Business financial statement
- Letter of recommendation
- Responses to up to seven short essay questions explaining the business and its impact
Selection Process
1. Application review and document verification
2. Shortlisting of eligible candidates
3. Brief virtual interview for shortlisted applicants
4. Final selection of grant recipients
