In a circular dated December 26, 2024, TESCOM Permanent Secretary Alhaji Lawal Haroon said that the newly appointed teachers must report to their designated zones for their appointment letters starting on Monday, December 30, 2024.

Haroon said that newly appointed Oyo state teachers would begin receiving SMS messages about their screening and appointment letters on Saturday, December 28, 2024.

He further reminded the public that any correspondence not appearing on TESCOM letterhead should be ignored because it is not from TESCOM.

Lawal said that the non-teaching and special needs categories are not included in the letters that will be distributed on Monday. However, he advised the successful applicants in these categories to wait until the Commission notifies them when the process will begin.
