FG offers workers N40,000 rice purchase – SEE HOW TO APPLY

The message instructed all interested staff members to fill out a Google form on the OHCSF website and submit it to the director of human resources for approval.

It stated that payment for and distribution of the rice would be coordinated by designated offices, with the chairman of the ministry’s Joint Union Council serving as an observer for transparency purposes throughout the exercise.

“As part of the Federal Government’s efforts to ease the country’s present food crisis and its repercussions on the general population, I am writing to notify you that 50kg of rice would be sold at a subsidized rate of N40,000 per bag to interested public officials in Abuja.

“To ensure effective implementation, all interested workers must complete a Google form on the OHCSF website, https://www.ohcsf.gov.ng, print it, and submit it to the Director, HR, for approval.

“Payment for and distribution of rice will be coordinated by designated officials, with the head of the Ministry’s Joint Union Council serving as an observer during the exercise for transparency.

“I should clarify that each employee is only allowed to purchase one bag. Two or more employees may also pay for a bag to share among themselves.

“Please bring the contents of this circular to the attention of staff in your respective Departments/Units for information and guidance.”

The Federal Government recently announced that it had established locations across the country where Nigerians may buy 50kg sacks of rice for N40,000.
