This is now official as the Oyo State Post Primary School Teaching Service Commission announced July 29-August 2, 2024 for computer-based test (CBT).

The above statement was said by the OYO TESCOM Chairman in Ibadan on July 25, 2024, after the press conference.
The chairman added that the total number of all the applicants scheduled for the TESCOM 2024 CBT EXAM is 62,000. He went ahead to say that 12,000
applicants belong to the non-teaching service sector, while there are a total of 50,000 applicants from the teaching service.

Pastor Akamu emphasized that the Commission is collaborating with appropriate agencies, including the Ministries of Education and Establishment, the Office of
the Head of Service and the Ministry of Finance, to conduct the recruitment process.
Pastor Alamu stated the Commission’s commitment to a credible process, claiming that “no applicant should rely on hearsay.”
Pastor Akamu added that specific dates and hours for each candidate may already be discovered on their portals.
Governor Seyi Makinde, an education enthusiast, saw the need to remedy a secondary school shortage following a four-year recruitment process.
He further revealed that the exam will be taken at the University of Ibadan Distance Learning Centre’s Computer Based Testing Centre in Ajibode, Ibadan.

Alamu urged all applicants to make copies of their CBT examination schedule and application print-out, along with their passports, from the employment portal.
He also stated, “The Commission has approved that the University of Ibadan Distance Learning Centre, a computer-based testing center, should conduct the computer-based tests for the applicants because of its pedigree in such an exercise.”
The Chairmam stated that the two printouts will admit applicants to the CBT examination hall.
He insisted that candidates should adhere to the time and date assigned to them, as loitering about the center would not be tolerated.
The chairman further stated that successful candidates in the computer-based assessments will be required to attend an oral interview.
Meanwhile, Pastor Alamu stated that the Commission has prepared for applications by providing needs such as tents, seats, ambulance service, and security.
