The Federal Government, through the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB), has officially announced that its recruitment portal will reopen on Monday, July 21, 2025, for the continuation of the recruitment exercise across its four key paramilitary agencies.

These agencies include:

  • Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC)
  • Nigeria Correctional Service (NCoS)
  • Federal Fire Service (FFS)
  • Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS)

What this means for applicants

Who can apply?

Applicants must:

  • Be Nigerian by birth and possess a valid means of identification (NIN, voter’s card, or international passport)
  • Have a minimum of SSCE, with higher qualifications (ND, NCE, HND, B.Sc.) accepted depending on the role
  • Be between the ages of 18 and 30 years (some roles may have different limits)
  • Be medically fit and free from any form of disability
  • Have good character and no criminal record
  • Meet specific requirements for the selected service (e.g. height, chest measurement, physical fitness)
