The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has released a crucial update for all shortlisted candidates in the 2025 recruitment exercise. The Board announced that its recruitment portal will officially close on Friday, 7 November 2025, urging applicants to immediately log in to recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng to verify their status before access ends.
In a major procedural change, the Board confirmed that the recruitment assessment will no longer be conducted at physical CBT centres.
Instead, the screening will now be held entirely online. The online test is scheduled to run from Wednesday, 12 November to Wednesday, 19 November 2025.

The Board emphasized the importance of stable internet connectivity, functional devices, and strict compliance with exam instructions.
Failure to follow the exam guidelines or to properly print and present examination documents may result in automatic disqualification.
According to the Board, this shift to a fully online assessment aims to ensure a more seamless, transparent, and efficient recruitment process, eliminating logistical challenges previously associated with physical test centres.
