The Lagos State Scholarship Board has officially announced the commencement of applications for its 2025/2026 academic session bursary and scholarship awards.
The disclosure was made by the Executive Secretary of the Board, Rasheedat A. Daranijo, in a statement released on Thursday.
According to the announcement, the online application portal will be open from Monday, 19 January to Friday, 27 February 2026.
The scholarship and bursary scheme is strictly for indigenes of Lagos State who are currently studying in recognized tertiary institutions across Nigeria.
The initiative is part of the Lagos State Government’s ongoing commitment to supporting students and reducing the financial burden of higher education on families.

Who Can Apply?
1. Applicants must be indigenes of Lagos State
2. Must be currently enrolled in a tertiary institution in Nigeria
3. Must meet the application requirements as stated on the official portal
How to Apply for Lagos State Scholarship Board Bursary and Scholarship
Interested and eligible students are to submit their applications online via the official Lagos State Scholarship Board portal.
Applicants are advised to complete their applications early and ensure all required information is correctly provided before submission.
The application portal will close on Friday, 27 February 2026 and late applications will not be considered.
