The role is field-based and suited for individuals who can work directly within communities where development interventions are being implemented.

Role Overview: Data Collector
Selected Data Collectors will serve as frontline field officers, responsible for gathering accurate and reliable information from project locations and beneficiary communities. The role bridges community realities with RECEF’s analysis and reporting teams.
Key Responsibilities
Data Collectors will be expected to:
- Conduct field data collection using surveys, interviews, and observations
- Use digital data tools such as KoboToolbox and ODK for real-time data capture
- Engage respectfully and professionally with community members and stakeholders
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and ethical standards at all times
- Verify and submit high-quality data to support evidence-based decision-making

Required Qualifications
Applicants must possess at least one of the following:
- OND
- NCE
- HND
- Bachelor’s degree
Preferred disciplines include:
- Social Sciences
- Statistics
- Public Health
- Other related fields
Skills & Experience (Added Advantage)
1. Prior experience in Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) or data collection
2. Experience working with NGOs or development projects
3. Familiarity with KoboToolbox, ODK, or similar platforms
4. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel or data analysis tools
5. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
