The Africa Agriculture and Trade Investment Fund (AATIF) is inviting eligible companies, agribusinesses and financial institutions across Africa to submit agricultural investment opportunities for consideration.
The fund provides tailored investment financing to businesses and projects working to strengthen Africa’s agricultural sector, improve agricultural value chains and expand access to finance.
This opportunity is particularly valuable for established agribusinesses, agricultural finance providers and companies supporting smallholder farmers that require investment to expand their operations.

Who Can Apply?
- Direct investee companies involved in agriculture in one or more African countries.
- Large agribusinesses acting as off-takers, service providers or credit providers to smallholder farmers.
- Financial institutions supporting Africa’s agricultural sector, including commercial banks, microfinance institutions and savings and credit cooperatives.

- Agriculture and farming
- Agribusiness and food processing
- Agricultural inputs

Required Documents
Applicants should be prepared to provide:
- Business plan.
- Audited financial statements for the previous three years, where available.
- Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) or relevant environmental and social documentation.
- Additional documents that may be requested during due diligence.
