The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has announced the release of the shortlisted candidates for the final oral interview in the 2024/2025 recruitment exercise.
The shortlist follows the recently concluded physical and medical screening for recruitment into the Nigeria Correctional Service (NCoS), Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Federal Fire Service (FFS), and Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).
Who Should Check?
Candidates who participated in the physical and medical screening should check the official CDCFIB recruitment portal to know whether they have been shortlisted for the oral interview.
Graduate Category
Candidates who applied under the Graduate Category should check the portal from:
- Monday, 31 August to Wednesday, 2 September 2026
NCE/OND/SSCE Category
Candidates who applied with NCE, OND or SSCE qualifications should check the portal from:
- Monday, 7 September to Wednesday, 9 September 2026

How to Check Your CDCFIB Shortlist
Visit the official CDCFIB recruitment portal.
1. Log in using the details associated with your application.
2. Check whether you have been shortlisted for the oral interview.
3. If shortlisted, select the available venue, date and time closest to you.

View all4. Print your oral interview invitation letter and carefully follow all instructions contained in it.
Candidates are advised to appear strictly at the venue, date and time stated on their invitation letters.

Important Information for Applicants
The CDCFIB stated that it will not send emails to shortlisted candidates. Applicants should therefore rely on the official recruitment portal and verified CDCFIB communication channels for updates.
Only candidates shortlisted for this final exercise will be granted access to the interview venue.
The Board also reiterated that the entire recruitment process is transparent and free of charge. Applicants should not pay anyone claiming to have the ability to secure employment or influence the recruitment process.
