DataraFlow is an Africa-focused talent accelerator that runs a free six-month programme focused on Data Science, Machine Learning and Generative AI for African professionals.
About the role
The Program Manager will play an important role in coordinating the programme from an operational perspective.
The successful candidate will help ensure that programme activities are properly scheduled, participants remain engaged, mentors are coordinated and potential challenges are identified and addressed promptly.
The role requires someone who is organised, proactive and capable of working independently while maintaining effective communication with participants, mentors and programme leadership.
Key responsibilities
The Program Manager will be responsible for:
1. Managing the cohort calendar, milestones and weekly deliverables
2. Tracking participant progress, engagement, retention and potential dropout risks
3. Running orientations, weekly sessions and programme checkpoints

Requirements for DataraFlow Program Manager Job 2026
Applicants should have the following qualifications and experience:
1. At least 2 years of experience in programme management, community management, operations or a comparable role
2. Experience managing a programme or cohort from beginning to completion
3. Strong written and day-to-day communication skills
4. Experience using Discord, Zoho or similar platforms
5. Experience working with learning platforms and spreadsheets
6. Strong planning, organisational and execution skills
7. Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
8. Reliable internet connection
9. Availability throughout the cohort schedule in West Africa Time
10. Genuine interest in Data Science, AI education and African talent development
Candidates should be able to demonstrate that they can manage multiple activities, communicate effectively with different stakeholders and ensure that programme tasks are completed on schedule.
