ASMAF Scholarship Benefits and Packages for Successful Applicants
1. We offer financial support for assist Nigerian student in pursuing a professional degree at a public university. The support covers tuition, accommodation, and living expenses for up to six years, depending on the selected course and the year the scholarship is granted, contingent upon maintaining satisfactory academic performance.
2. ASMAF Scholarship programs aimed at developing life skills and leadership, including mentoring, which provide unique opportunities for personal, academic, and professional growth.
3. Access to valuable resources that furnish essential information and tools which helps student achieve academic success and boost commitment to lifelong learning.
NOTE: The ASMAF Scholarship provides a monetary amount that ASMAF will determine each year, which usually includes tuition fees, living expenses, and upkeep allowance. Final year students (Finalist) chosen as ASMAF Scholars will be informed of the value of their scholarships.
ASMAF Scholarship 2025 Requirements and Application Criteria
- To qualify for the ASMAF Scholarship, candidates must adhere to the following criteria.
- Applicants must be female, underprivileged, and a Nigerian citizen pursuing tertiary education for the first time.
- Candidates should have secured admission to or currently be enrolled in a full-time accredited undergraduate program in Medicine, Law, Actuarial Science, Engineering, Accounting, Architecture, or any other professional course at any public university in Nigeria.
- Applicants need to demonstrate financial need and meet the academic criteria outlined in these guidelines.
- Candidates should show dedication to both academic and professional excellence, along with possessing significant leadership potential.
Selection Process for ASMAF Scholarship 2025
The application procedure involves submitting a completed Online Form. Details below in how to apply section.
Only those students whose completed application packages and submitted on or before the deadline will be eligible for consideration for a scholarship.
Recommenders must thoroughly review ASMAF’s eligibility criteria and recommend only those students who meet these requirements.

Relatives are not permitted to serve as recommenders
Recommender letters must be written by individuals who are sufficiently familiar with the student’s academic achievements to address inquiries regarding their performance.
Acceptable recommenders include principals, teachers, guidance counselors, higher education representatives, and other qualified educators.
Referee letters may be written by any reputable adult but must demonstrate sufficient knowledge of the student’s financial situation to address questions pertaining to financial need. All such recommenders must act in their personal capacity.
Application Documents
1. A letter of admission from the Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board (JAMB) is required.
2. Proof of credit passes in all necessary subjects from any of the following:
- General Certificate of Education (GCE) examination;
- National Examination Council (NECO);
- West African School Certificate (WASC) examination;
- or any other approved university qualifying examination.
3. Evidence of success in any required post-JAMB examination, interview, or other criteria established by the admitting university is necessary.
