Dr. Iyanuoluwa Adufe, a lecturer at Osun State University, has been chosen to receive the Nigeria Malaria Modeling Fellowship.

A statement confirming Adufe’s appointment was signed by Ademola Adesoji, the university’s public relations officer.
According to Adesoji, Adufe’s accomplishments demonstrated her extraordinary educational pursuit, academic ability, and commitment to public health.
“The MMF, a collaborative initiative between the World Health Organization, Nigeria Center for Disease Control and Prevention, National Malaria Elimination Programme, Corona Management System, and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, aims to bolster the mathematical modeling capacity of public health professionals in Nigeria,” stated a portion of the release.
The university’s spokeswoman added that in response to Adufe’s accomplishment, UNIOSUN Vice-Chancellor Prof. Clement Adebooye praised her and credited the school’s dedication to problem-solving and research advancement.
