The Youth Data Protection Awareness and Training Program is powered by three different sectors of government, namely the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC), the Federal Ministry of Youth Development, and the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
All students currently in tertiary institutions and NYSC corps members across the country are enjoined to apply for the Youth Data Protection Awareness and Training Program.

About the Program
This is a combined effort of the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC), the Federal Ministry of Youth Development, and the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) to empower Nigerian youth with relevant knowledge and skills in data privacy, digital rights, and data protection compliance both in Nigeria and to global standards.
The Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC) is currently set to allocate and appoint Data Protection Officers (DPOs) to over 500,000 organizations; this opportunity will definitely unlock successful career paths for Nigerian youth in the country and globally.

- Nigeria’s Data Protection Act (NDPA) and global standards
- Digital responsibility and ethical use of personal data
- Emerging career paths in data protection and compliance
All participants will undergo expert-led training sessions, which will cover the above courses.

- Individuals currently studying at a university, polytechnic, or college of education in Nigeria
- Active members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC)
