The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire, and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has officially reactivated access to application records submitted before the recent upgrade of its recruitment portal. Affected applicants can now log in to the update platform via https://update.cdcfib.gov.ng to verify and finalise their application details.
All applicants are strongly advised to take this opportunity to cross-check their previously submitted information, make necessary corrections where applicable, and ensure the submission is successfully completed.
Upon confirmation, the system will generate a new application slip bearing the same Application ID that was originally issued during the first submission.
The reason for this new process is to maintain the integrity and continuity of earlier records during the recruitment exercise.
It also ensures that eligible candidates who applied prior to the upgrade are not left out of the upcoming screening and selection stages.
Again, the updated portal is strictly for applicants who submitted their applications before the system upgrade. If you completed and submitted a new application after the upgrade, your latest submission will override the previous one, and your earlier records will not appear on this update portal.
