The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has released the official list of documents all shortlisted applicants must present during the upcoming physical screening and document verification exercise. Candidates are strongly advised to come prepared with all ORIGINAL documents, along with clear photocopies where necessary, to avoid disqualification.

According to the Board, every applicant must report to their screening venue with the following items:
1. Recent Passport Photograph
Applicants must bring current passport-sized photographs with a clear, plain white background.
2. Educational Certificates
These include SSCE, ND, NCE, HND, Bachelor’s Degree, or any other relevant academic qualification used during registration.

3. Birth Certificate or Age Declaration
A valid birth certificate or sworn age declaration issued by the National Population Commission (NPC), a competent court, or a recognized government hospital is required.
4. Letter of Indigeneity
Candidates must present their state of origin certificate issued by their local government authority.

5. Medical Fitness Report
This report must come from a government hospital certifying the applicant’s physical and medical fitness for service.
6. National Identity Number (NIN)
Applicants must provide their NIN slip or any valid proof of NIN issued by NIMC.
7. Bank Verification Number (BVN)
A BVN slip or official bank confirmation must be presented for identity verification.
8. Recruitment Acknowledgement Slip
This is the receipt/acknowledgement printout obtained from the CDCFIB recruitment portal during the application phase.
9. Letter of Good Conduct
This must be issued by the candidate’s district authority or area head, confirming good character and community standing.
10. Guarantor’s Form
Applicants must bring the fully completed guarantor’s form as specified by the CDCFIB.
11. Examination/Test Slip
The original examination or test slip issued during registration is mandatory.

Important Notice to All Applicants
The CDCFIB warned that failure to present any of the required documents may lead to immediate disqualification. All documents must be valid, clear, and legible. Candidates are also advised to carry photocopies for submission where applicable.
