The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has reopened its recruitment portal for printing exam slips until midnight today.

Candidates can now log in to access their exam slips in preparation for the Computer-Based Test (CBT).

According to the announcement, “Applicants are encouraged to visit recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng to check and print their exam slips before the portal shuts down again.”

To obtain the examination slip, candidates must provide their National Identity Number (NIN) and mobile phone number. This urgent announcement is aimed at those who were unable to update their information earlier today prior to the closure of the CDCFIB shortlist portal.

Instead, the evaluation will now be conducted entirely online. The online examination is set to occur from Wednesday, 12 November to Wednesday, 19 November 2025.

Candidates who had earlier chosen physical CBT locations are advised to return to the recruitment portal to select a new date and time for the online test. The scheduling link will become active on Tuesday, 11 November 2025.

The Board stressed the necessity of having a stable internet connection, functional devices, and adherence to exam instructions.

Failing to comply with the exam guidelines or to correctly print and present examination documents could lead to automatic disqualification.

As stated by the Board, this transition to a fully online assessment is intended to facilitate a more streamlined, transparent, and efficient recruitment process, removing logistical issues that were previously associated with physical testing sites.
