How to process your undergraduate University of Ibadan transcript online

At present, applications for UI transcription can only be processed on the PC, there is no means to how to do it on mobile for now.

Follow the steps below to process your University of Ibadan transcript online.

STEP 1: Go to the University of Ibadan transcript page and then click on “undergraduate transcript”.

STEP 2: Now, on the next page, click on “Initiate Transcript Request”.

Immediately after the page loads, a page will pop up requiring you to fill in your biodata info containing your full name, date of birth, department, year of graduation, faculty, email, phone number, and matric number.

As soon as you are filling all the required boxes, you will be redirected to the next page, where you will be able to select the type of transcript you want and the number of copies you would like to process.

The price for each will be displayed after you select the above. Transcripts that are being sent outside of the nation currently require processing fees of about N7200 as of the time this article was written. A student copy transcript, however, goes for about N5,000.

You will then be taken to a Remita payment page. Pay using the instructions after entering your card or bank information.

After your payment has been approved, a receipt page will appear. Since you’ll need the invoice number later, make sure you download the receipt or take a screenshot of it.

STEP 3: Return to the application page for an undergraduate transcript and select “Continue Request After Payment.”

Your reference number (invoice number) and matric number will need to be entered.

Next, you will be required to submit JPEG photos of your statement of results and payment receipt.

Additionally, you will specify to whom and where you want the transcript to be addressed. It will then confirm that you have finished that step.

STEP 4: Return to the undergraduate transcript application page and you will click on “Track Transcript”. With this, you can monitor the various phases of your transcript processing here.

Processing the transcripts shouldn’t take longer than two weeks. 

Strikes and other conditions, however, could affect how long the process takes.

Please be aware that once your transcript is complete, you must pick it up in person or send a representative to the University of Ibadan’s Exams and Records Department if you are processing a physical transcript (student copy or abroad copy).

To send the transcript sealed by the university overseas, you will need to choose your favorite courier service. 

You might try to get a reference from the staff members of the Exams and Records Department. International courier firms like UPS and DHL work with the institution to offer these services at a reduced cost.
