Requirements for EmpowerHer Accounting Scholarship

Only the candidates that meet the under-listed criteria will receive financial support and mentorship:

  • Five (5) credits in any subject, including English Language, Mathematics, and Financial Accounting from the West Africa School Certificate Examination, the NECO equivalent earned in no more than two sittings for the General Certificate of Education or Senior Certificate of Education, or the NABTEB program.
  • Ordinary National Certificate from any Polytechnic approved by the Nigerian Institute of Chartered Accountants.
  • Applicants must exhibit a keen interest in going into accounting.
