The Enugu State Universal Basic Education Board (ENSUBEB) has officially invited applications from qualified service providers who are interested in working in the state’s Smart Green Schools. The exercise is part of the government’s effort to improve learning conditions and student welfare across all 260 political wards in Enugu State.
The board is currently seeking vendors in two service categories: school feeding services and school cleaning and sanitation services. Successful applicants will be deployed to Smart Green Schools within their respective wards.
This recruitment is strictly ward-based, meaning applicants must be indigenes of the ward where the school is located and must also be residents of that area.

Enugu SUBEB School Feeding and Cleaning Vendors Available Service Categories
1. School Feeding Vendors
Vendors in this category will be responsible for preparing and supplying meals to pupils in Smart Green Schools across the state.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate:
- Proven experience in catering or school feeding services
- Medical fitness clearance for staff involved in food preparation
- Capacity to deliver safe, hygienic, and nutritious meals consistently
- Proper understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
2. Cleaning and Sanitation Vendors
This category covers the cleaning and general hygiene maintenance of school environments.
Applicants must show:
- Experience in cleaning or sanitation services
- Access to trained personnel and basic cleaning equipment
- Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in school facilities

Enugu SUBEB School Feeding and Cleaning Vendors General Requirements for All Applicants
All interested vendors must:
1. Have relevant experience in the service they are applying for
2. Be able to operate within their assigned political ward
3. Be an indigene and resident of the ward where the Smart School is located
4. Follow all ENSUBEB/SUBEB operational guidelines
5. Submit only one application (multiple submissions will lead to disqualification)
Interview Details
Shortlisted applicants will be invited for a physical interview scheduled as follows:
- Venue: ENSUBEB Headquarters, Enugu
- Date: Thursday, 5th February, 2026
- Time: 10:00 AM prompt
