The Federal Government has officially commenced payment of the N30,000 monthly stipend to beneficiaries of the National Directorate of Employment (NDE) Renewed Hope Employment Initiative (RHEI).
Trainees who completed the mandatory training and successfully uploaded their bank details on the NDE portal have started receiving alerts.
Multiple beneficiaries have confirmed payment, with Facebook and other social platforms filled with posts announcing: “Payment of N30,000 NDE stipends has commenced.”
According to verified reports, the disbursement started on December 3.

A sample of one of the viral payment SMS reads:
“UBA Messages
Txn: CR
Ac: 2XX..81X
Amt: NGN 30,000.00
Des: NDE NWZ RHEI
Date: 03-12-2025 16:45
Bal: NGN 30,001.97
Loan? Dial 91928#”
Again, it has been noticed that the payment is being made to trainees who attended the RHEI training sessions and uploaded their bank account details as instructed.
This follows NDE’s earlier directive in November asking participants from the second phase of the programme to update their bank details using their Registration ID on the portal to enable seamless payment processing.
Applicants whose dashboard status still shows “Pending” are not eligible for this round of payment. They are advised to keep checking their portal until their status changes to “Approved.” Applicants experiencing “Invalid ID” errors should visit their respective State NDE offices for resolution.
