The Federal Ministry of Education 2025/2026 Technical Teachers PGDE is a one-year, tuition-free Post-Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) for eligible teachers which is designed purposely improve the pedagogical and technical capabilities of Nigerian instructors to ensure they meet up with the teaching methodologies and industry expectations of the 21st-century. 

Objectives of FG PGDE Programme

• To upgrade instructors qualification in technical and vocational education.  
• To enhance the standard of instruction and quality of teaching in technical institutions and colleges.  
• To equip educators with pertinent skills and techniques to prepare students for real-world industry challenges.  
• To promote sustainable growth in Nigeria’s educational and industrial sectors/fields.

Eligibility Criteria for the Federal Ministry of Education 2025/2026 Technical Teachers PGDE

Application for 2025/2026 Technical Teachers PGDE is only open for individual who meet the following qualifications:

• You must currently be a teacher teaching technical or vocational subjects in a public secondary technical school or college in Nigeria.
• Must have a minimum of five (5) years of service left before retirement.
• Submit medical report required at the point of application, which implies you are medically fit.
