Guaranty Trust Bank (GTBank) has introduced the NYSC Advance Loan, a short-term financial facility designed to provide serving corps members with quick access to funds during their service year.
The initiative aims to help National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members manage personal expenses and urgent financial needs with ease.

The loan is specifically available to corps members who receive their monthly allowance (allawee) through GTBank, ensuring seamless disbursement and repayment processing.
Loan Features and Benefits
Eligible corps members can access up to ₦200,000 instantly at an interest rate of 1.75 percent per month. The facility offers:
- Minimum loan amount of ₦5,000
- Maximum loan amount of ₦200,000
- Flexible repayment period of up to nine months
- No hidden charges
- One percent insurance fee
The repayment structure allows beneficiaries to spread payments across the remaining months of their service year.

Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the NYSC Advance Loan:
1. Applicant must be an active NYSC corps member
2. Monthly allowance must be paid through GTBank
3. Applicant must have received at least one allowance payment
Corps members who previously accessed the facility may apply again before the first loan matures, provided they have fully repaid the earlier loan, including accrued interest, and are still actively serving.
The approved amount for a new loan will depend on the number of months remaining in service.
