Iconic Open University has opened applications for qualified and experienced individuals to serve as Ad-Hoc Examination Proctors/Supervisors for the upcoming examination period.

The engagement is a temporary, one-off assignment strictly for the 2026 examination cycle.

Recruitment is ongoing across multiple examination centres nationwide to ensure smooth, credible, and well-coordinated conduct of Computer-Based Tests (CBT).

Available Locations

Applications are invited from residents of the following cities and towns:

Abuja (Kubwa), Lagos (Lagos Island), Sokoto, Kano, Gusau, Kebbi, Katsina, Kaduna, Borno, Niger (New-Bussa), Ekiti, Adamawa, Damaturu, Gombe, Taraba, Benue, Jigawa (Dutse), Edo (Benin City), Ibadan, Kogi (Lokoja), Ilorin, Delta, Ebonyi, Enugu, Anambra, and Rivers.

Applicants must be resident in any of the listed locations.

Duration and Timeline

Training Period: 16 March 2026 – 29 March 2026

Examination Period: 30 March 2026 – 12 April 2026

Total Engagement Duration: 4 weeks

Job Requirements

Interested candidates must meet the following criteria:

1. Minimum of a Master’s Degree from a recognized institution with relevant technical experience

2. Prior experience supervising or proctoring examinations in a tertiary institution

3. Strong computer and web operation skills

4. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities

5. High level of integrity and attention to duty

Key Responsibilities

Successful applicants will be responsible for:

• Monitoring Computer-Based Tests (CBT)
• Ensuring strict compliance with examination rules and guidelines
• Preventing examination malpractice
• Assisting with distribution and collection of examination materials 
• Submitting reports on examination conduct
