The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has instructed all candidates who submitted their O-level results prior to the final release of the 2025 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WAEC SSCE) results to visit accredited centres again and re-upload their results.
This instruction was communicated in JAMB’s weekly news bulletin on Monday, August 25, 2025.
The examination body clarified that all previously uploaded results have been purged from its system to eliminate discrepancies and ensure that only official final WAEC results are utilized for admission processing.

JAMB noted that some candidates who participated in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) with awaiting results had previously uploaded incomplete WAEC records before the final results were released. To rectify this, the Board has required a new upload for all candidates, whether the updated results differ from those submitted earlier.
“All UTME candidates are urged to promptly re-upload their 2025 SSCE results on the JAMB portal to remain eligible for admission consideration,” stated the Board.
