Call for Applications: NNNGO Journalism Fellowship 2026 (N100,00 Monthly Stipend, Mentorship + Training)

The Nigeria Network of NGOs (NNNGO) has officially announced the 2026 Cohort of its Journalism Fellowship.

It is a 12-month programme designed to empower professional journalists to produce high-impact, evidence-based stories.

The fellowship focuses on reporting around:

• Civil society
• Human rights
• Civic space
• Countering digital misinformation

This initiative aims to strengthen investigative and public-interest journalism in Nigeria.

NNNGO Journalism Fellowship 2026 Benefits

Selected fellows will receive:

1. A 5-day hybrid capacity-building workshop (with global experts)

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must:

• Have a minimum of 5 years journalism experience
• Be based in North East, South West, or South East Nigeria
• Demonstrate interest in civic space, human rights, and countering digital misinformation

Note: Women journalists are strongly encouraged to apply.

All applications must be submitted on or before: 20 February 2026

Late submissions will not be considered.
