The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) was created to promote unity, integration, and development across Nigeria.

Categories of CDS in NYSC

CDS is mainly be divided into two main categories, which are Group CDS and Individual or Personal CDS.

Group CDS

Group CDS occurs when corps members are being posted into specific groups with defined objectives to attain and achieve corporate goal.

NYSC Group CDS meetings are usually held once a week, in some Local Government it do falls into Thursday while some others and each group works on projects, campaigns, or awareness programs in line with the mission of the group in specific.

Individual CDS (Personal CDS)
