The Seven OPay Security Features are the seven powerful tools built into the OPay app. Each of these tools are designed to tackle common security threats Nigerians face daily:
- Scam Alert: It is designed to warns you in real time about suspicious or fraudulent activities.
- Night Guard: This tool designed to restricts transactions during late-night hours to reduce risks of unauthorized use.
- Large Transaction Shield : It mainly focus on adding extra protection for high-value transactions.
- Online Subscription Control: This in-built tools in Opay helps manage recurring online payments and block unwanted deductions.
- USSD Lock: With this tool, fraudsters are restricted from gaining access to your account through USSD codes.
- Large Transaction Double Check: This is the tool that gives you a second confirmation step before large payments are processed.
- Emergency Lock: With emergency lock, you can instantly freezes your account if you suspect any compromise.

- Open the OPay app and explore the seven security tools.
- Pick your favourite feature and think about how it protects you.
- Record a 30-second creative video explaining why it matters.
- Upload the video on your social media page with the hashtag #MyOPaySecurityVoteChallenge.
- Tag OPay’s official social media accounts to qualify.
Rewards and Recognition
The campaign isn’t just about learning—it’s also about winning. Over the course of the challenge:
- More than 2,000 Nigerians will be recognized and celebrated.
- Weekly rewards worth over ₦10 million will be shared among participants.
