Earthjustice is inviting passionate graduate and law students to apply for the Spring 2026 Litigation & Advocacy Partnership (LAP) Remote Internships.
This is a paid and part-time internship that can be done remotely anywhere or on a hybrid schedule from one of our offices.

Internship Role: What You’ll Do
As a member of the LAP team, you will:
- Support Partnerships: You will help strengthen Earthjustice’s relationships with community-based organizations.
- Work With Experts: Opportunity to collaborate with legal and policy staff on advocacy projects.
- Assist in Events: You will assit to coordinate national and local engagement activities.
- Develop Resources: We will also have you to contribute to materials and trainings on environmental justice, community lawyering, and collaboration strategies.
- Maintain Tools – You will help in updating the Earthjustice Partnership Toolkit.
- Speaker Series: You support in the Quarterly Partnership Speaker Series will be needed.
- Research & Content: You will assist us in research, writing, and content development for ongoing projects.
This is a great way to gain hands-on experience at the intersection of law, advocacy, and community engagement.

Who Can Apply?
- Current graduate students OR law students.
- Able to commit 15–20 hours per week during Spring 2026.
- Skills and qualities we look for:
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving.
- Genuine interest in public interest law, social justice, and environmental justice communities.
- Background in environmental policy, civil rights, sociology, social work, or community organizing (a plus).
- Comfortable with MS Office tools.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Internship Benefits
1. Competitive pay:
- Graduate students: $27.39/hour
- Law students: $35.20/hour
