The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Continent 3, has announced a large-scale digital empowerment initiative that will provide free training to 8,400 beneficiaries in celebration of the 84th birthday of its General Overseer, Pastor Enoch Adeboye.
The programme is scheduled to commence on March 1, 2026, and is aimed at addressing youth unemployment and narrowing the digital skills gap in Nigeria.
In a statement issued in Lagos, the Continent 3 Overseer, Pastor Johnson Funsho Odesola, said the initiative is part of activities lined up to commemorate Adeboye’s birthday. He explained that the programme aligns with the General Overseer’s long-standing commitment to education, youth empowerment, and national development.
According to him, investing in digital capacity building reflects a practical approach to raising self-reliant and impact-driven individuals.
The training will cover in-demand areas such as video editing, graphic design, digital marketing, social media management, animation, content creation, and digital skills monetisation. Organisers say these skills are essential for employability and entrepreneurship in today’s technology-driven economy.
The programme is structured not just as a celebratory gesture, but as a strategic intervention designed to equip participants with tools to compete in the global digital marketplace.

Pastor Olalekan Adebekun, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Love Transformation Academy, disclosed that RCCG parishes across regions, provinces, and zones within Continent 3 will function as study centres. Training sessions will be delivered virtually via Zoom, enabling participants to learn within their local communities.
The centres will also provide access to internet facilities for those without personal connectivity, alongside mentorship and post-training support.
The initiative is being coordinated by Love Transformation Academy in partnership with Faith Cometh Multimedia Consultants, combining church infrastructure and professional expertise to promote digital inclusion and economic empowerment nationwide.
