The University of Ibadan (UI) has released official guidelines for all UTME and Direct Entry candidates offered provisional admission for the 2025/2026 academic session to pay their non-refundable Acceptance Fee of Fifty Thousand Naira (₦50,000.00) via the University Admission Portal: www.admissions.ui.edu.ng
Key Dates:
- Portal Opens: Monday, 10 November 2025
- Deadline: Friday, 05 December 2025 (no extension)

Payment Instructions:
1. Log in to the University Admission Portal using your registered details.
2. Choose a preferred payment option:
- Card Payment: Use a credit or debit (ATM) card online.
- Bank Branch Payment: Print payment slip from the portal and pay at any designated bank. Afterwards, log in to the portal to confirm and reconcile payment.
3. Print your payment success receipt for record purposes.
4. Documents to Upload:
- O’Level result(s)
- WAEC/NECO scratch card PIN and serial number for result verification

Important Notes
Candidates must first generate and print their admission letters from the JAMB CAPS before proceeding with the payment of the acceptance fee, which is strictly non-refundable.
After payment, they are required to present their original credentials to the designated Schedule Officers in the Undergraduate Admissions Office for physical clearance on a date to be announced later.
Only candidates who successfully complete the clearance exercise will be officially matriculated as bona fide students of the University of Ibadan.
The University reserves the right to withdraw any admission found to have been obtained through falsified, irregular, or insufficient credentials at any stage of the process.
