The NNPC Foundation Business Pitching Exercise has selected 2,659 National Youth Service Corps participants from across Nigeria to advance to the final stage.

The Chief Corporate Communications Officer said in a statement. This is done because of our value for education.




An essential component of the NNPC Foundation’s Financial Literacy program for Nigerian youth, which saw the participation of over 284,000 corps members who undertook rigorous training and examinations, is the exercise, which is scheduled to take place at NNPC Ltd., Olufemi Soneye, from July 2 to July 10, 2024.



Selection Criteria for the NNPC Foundation Business Pitching Exercise

The NNPC Foundation’s Managing Director, Mrs. Emmanuella Arukwe, discussed the exercise and said that the selection criteria would be centered on:

  1. viability and sustainability of the business idea
  2. market relevance
  3. competitive edge and innovation 
  4. scalability
  5. potential community impact
  6. the corps members’ entrepreneurial spirit

Arukwe declared, “We have identified these 2,659 individuals who are prepared to pitch their business ideas to an esteemed panel of assessors.”

Ongoing scholarship opportunities for undergraduate 


According to Arukwe, the Financial Literacy Program supports the goal of the NNPC Foundation, which is to provide young Nigerian graduates with the tools they need for professional and personal growth.
