The opening of the application portal for the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has been postponed.

Originally, the portal was set to open on June 26.

However, according to a statement signed by Abdulmalik Jibrin, its secretary, the portal will now become active on July 14.

The announcement also provided a new web address for applicants to access.

“The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) wishes to inform the public that its recruitment portal, which was initially planned to launch on Thursday, June 26, 2025, will instead open on Monday, July 14, 2025,” the statement indicates.

“Furthermore, the portal address for potential applicants who wish to apply for their desired Service is now: recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng.

“Applicants are kindly asked to take note of these modifications and to remember that all applications are free of charge and do not require any payment. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this change may cause.”

Meanwhile, applicants must be Nigerian citizens aged between 18 and 35 and must comply with the minimum physical and medical criteria.

Male candidates should have a minimum height of 1.65 meters and a chest measurement of at least 0.87 meters, while female candidates must be at least 1.60 meters tall.
