In line with the release from the CIVIL DEFENCE, CORRECTIONAL, FIRE AND IMMIGRATION SERVICES BOARD OFFICE OF THE SECRETARY on July 16, 2025, Headquarters, Abuja signed by the Secretary to the Board, Maj. Gen. AM Jibril (Rtd).
The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has officially announced the temporary suspension of its recruitment application portal — https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng.
In a public notice released on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, the Board explained that the suspension is part of efforts to improve the system’s performance and ensure a seamless experience for applicants amid high traffic and demand.
The recruitment portal is now expected to reopen on Monday, July 21, 2025.
CDCFIB reaffirmed its commitment to a smooth, fair, and transparent recruitment process, thanking applicants for their patience and eagerness to serve in Nigeria’s paramilitary services.
The statement was signed by the Secretary to the Board, Maj. Gen. AM Jibril (Rtd).

CDCFIB expressed appreciation for the interest and enthusiasm of young Nigerians eager to serve in the country’s paramilitary agencies and assured applicants of a credible and efficient selection process once the portal reopens.
Applicants are advised to stay updated and prepare for the new registration date which has been slated to be reopen on Monday, July 21, 2025.
