Requirement for the UCEF Scholarship Program 2025

To be eligible for the UCEF 2025 Scholarship, applicants are required to fulfill certain criteria. This process ensures assistance is provided to those genuinely in need during their educational pursuits.

The UCEF Scholarship is aimed at dedicated Christian students enrolled in federal and state universities throughout the South-East and South-South regions of Nigeria who encounter financial difficulties that hinder their ability to complete their education.

This scholarship initiative is formulated to ensure that financial constraints don’t impede committed Christian students from chasing their academic aspirations and realizing their fullest potential.

  • Only dedicated Christian students who have secured admission to federal or state universities in Nigeria’s South-East and South-South regions are eligible to apply.
  • Applicants must exhibit financial need that hinders their ability to continue their education.
  • Applicants MUST be citizens of Nigeria.
  • Applicants must not currently be receiving support from any other scholarship program.
  • Academic Criteria: First-year students must have achieved a minimum of 200 points in JAMB. Returning students need to maintain at least a 3.5 CGPA on a 5-point grading scale. Medical students and those with different grading systems must have successfully completed all courses leading up to their application.
  • Applicants should be engaged members of a Christian organization and show consistent, active involvement throughout their time at university.
