The SieDi-Hub Opportunity Youth Educational Scholarship is a need-based, comprehensive scholarship program designed to assist Nigerian students.
Most especially those from low-income and vulnerable families, who have recently gained admission or are in their first year at a tertiary institution but face the risk of dropping out due to significant life challenges.
It is supported by generous anonymous donors dedicated to promoting educational equity, this scholarship provides more than just financial assistance. It is a transformative initiative that provides scholars with leadership training, practical work experience, and mentorship opportunities to prepare them to become changemakers in their communities.
Every year, two students (one female and one male) are chosen to receive up to ₦250,000 per year, which covers tuition, mandatory school fees, and book expenses for the entire duration of their studies.

The Rationale Behind the SieDi-Hub Scholarship
We believe that talent is present in every part of Nigeria, but opportunities are often lacking. The Opportunity Youth Educational Scholarship was established to address that disparity by providing promising students from disadvantaged backgrounds with the necessary support to excel academically, personally, and professionally. The objective is to cultivate a pipeline of future-ready, socially aware leaders.
Eligibility Criteria for Applicants
The scholarship is available to Nigerian youths who:
- Are between the ages of 17 and 25 years
- Have recently gained admission or are in their first year at a recognized tertiary institution in Nigeria
- Are facing substantial financial difficulties or personal challenges (for instance, the loss of a parent, displacement, family crises, etc.)
- Are dedicated to volunteering and contributing to their communities.

4. Engage in community outreach, mentoring, and other SieDi-Hub activities

Application Guidelines
To finalize your application, you must:
1. Complete the online application form
2. Submit the following documents:
3. A personal statement (1–2 pages, 1000–1500 words)
4. Admission letter or evidence of first-year enrollment
5. Available academic records (WAEC, UTME results, etc.)
6. Contact information for two references (teachers, mentors, community or religious leaders)
7. Documentation/proof of hardship (e.g., death certificate, displacement record, medical report)

Applications are evaluated by a Selection Committee considering:
